HR Business Partner (Payroll & Reward) – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Osborne Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading employer to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner (Payroll & Reward).
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional to join a collaborative People team, partnering with leaders across the business while taking ownership of payroll, reward and key HR initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the employee experience, supporting organisational change, and ensuring HR operations are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with best practice.
This is a hybrid role based in Dublin 15.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers and leaders to provide expert HR guidance across employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and organisational development.
- Coach and support managers in embedding best practice people management and driving a high-performance culture.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and probation processes to ensure an excellent employee experience.
- Lead the end-to-end payroll process, working closely with Finance and payroll providers to ensure accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
- Review and enhance payroll processes, controls and reporting to improve efficiency and governance.
- Support the development and implementation of reward, compensation and benefits frameworks, including pay transparency initiatives.
- Analyse workforce data and HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations that support business decision-making.
- Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality and compliance.
- Support organisational change, employee engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives.
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with Irish employment legislation and current HR best practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects across the wider People & Culture function.
About You
- Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- CIPD qualification or working towards accreditation is desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience managing payroll for 100+ employees.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
- Experience supporting employee relations, recruitment, performance management and organisational change.
- Good understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Experience using HRIS systems, producing HR reports and analysing workforce data.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and exceptional attention to detail.
