HR Operations Lead

Osborne Recruitment is partnering with a leading international organisation to recruit an experienced HR Operations Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and hands-on HR professional to lead a high-performing HR Operations team within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will oversee the delivery of HR operations across Ireland and Europe, ensuring efficient, compliant, and employee-focused processes throughout the employee lifecycle. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement, leading HR initiatives, and providing meaningful people insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR Operations team, driving high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Manage HR systems and employee data, ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Produce HR metrics, dashboards and reports to support business decision-making and identify trends.
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations and people management matters.
  • Oversee HR processes that support payroll and benefits administration.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Lead or contribute to key HR projects, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and organisational initiatives.
  • Build and manage relationships with external HR service providers and key stakeholders.
  • Support the HR Director with operational priorities and strategic HR initiatives.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, including leadership within a busy HR operations environment.
  • Proven experience managing HR systems, people data and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
  • Confident using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to prioritise effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
