Salary: €40,000 – €45,000

At Osborne Recruitment, we are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our client’s team in Co. Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while providing education, clinical support, and exceptional service to patients within the community. This is a fixed-term contract, full time, field-based position, covering an assigned region in Ireland so daily travel is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care and education in line with individual clinical needs.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to patients, promoting positive health outcomes.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Manage workload efficiently, prioritising patient care to meet clinical demands.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing.
• Adapt to evolving clinical practices and service requirements.

Requirements:

• Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration nursing experience in Ireland.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated region.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to other digital healthcare platforms.
