Temporary General Operative

We are currently recruiting a Temporary General Operative for a busy industrial manufacturing site based on Tramore Road, Cork.

This is a 2-month temporary assignment, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced production environment. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Operate as part of a production team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Handle, move, and process products safely and efficiently.
• Support daily production targets while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Perform manual handling and other physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth production operations.
• Participate in training and follow established processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Manual Handling Certification.
• Ability to perform physically demanding, manual work in an industrial environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining attendance.
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, warehousing, or a similar hands-on environment is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.
