Job Description

Senior Legal Administrator

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Administration to join a busy legal regulation team supporting the coordination and delivery of legal administration including drafting legal documentation, client queries and data record management.
This role will suit a highly organised and detail-focused administrator with previous experience working as a legal administrator within a regulatory industry.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administration skills, be comfortable with the use of databases and maintain flexibility in relation to evening and weekend overtime where arising.

This role required a candidate who is comfortable working in a busy department with changing priorities with the ability to adapt to the needs to the team.

  • Location: Dublin
  • Duration: 2 Year FTC
  • Salary: €38K + DOE
  • Hybrid working available
  • Flexibility is required regarding working hours

Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad range of queries relating to practice regulation, including practising certificates, professional indemnity insurance, regulatory records, commencement and cessation of practices, and the provision of guidance to members.
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Good Standing and Certificates of Attestation to a consistently high standard.
  • Process and manage applications for the backdating of practising certificates.
  • Assist with the implementation of Statutory Instruments, including proofreading legislative documentation for accuracy.
  • Support members of the profession with online application and payment processes.
  • Respond to email enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Draft clear, accurate, and professional correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative support and undertake additional duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in legal administration
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high standard of English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using databases and maintaining confidential records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • An understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.
