Temporary Centre Manager

Newbridge, Co. Kildare | Full-Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | Approx. 6-Week Assignment

Osborne Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Centre Manager to join a well-established community-based service in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social care professional with strong leadership skills to step into a rewarding management role and make an immediate impact.

The Role

Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensure the delivery of a high-quality, person-centred service while supporting staff, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the smooth running of the service.

Assignment Details

  • Location: Newbridge, Co. Kildare
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Duration: Approximately 6 weeks
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the centre
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services
  • Maintain compliance with organisational policies and relevant legislation
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for service users
  • Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, reporting, and operational standards are maintained

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 7 qualification or higher in Social Care, Social Studies, Community Studies, Community Development, Nursing, or another relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Previous leadership or management experience within a social care, healthcare, or community setting
  • Strong organisational, communication, and people management skills
  • The ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Current Garda Vetting (or willingness to complete the process)
  • International Police Clearance where applicable (if you have lived outside Ireland for more than six months since the age of 16)
