Account Manager – (Household)

We are partnering with our client, a leading FMCG organisation with an established portfolio of household brands, to recruit an experienced Account Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven National Account Manager looking to join a market-leading FMCG business and work with some of Ireland’s best-known household brands.

Salary 70K DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Manage key national customer accounts, building and maintaining strong commercial relationships
• Drive sales, profitability, and account performance in line with business objectives
• Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, promotions, and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
• Manage forecasting, stock planning, new product listings, and promotional activity
• Conduct range reviews, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities for business growth
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure excellent customer service and execution

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an FMCG National Account Management role
• Proven experience managing head office retail and wholesale customer relationships
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margin management, forecasting, and promotions
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into commercial insights
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
