SALES REPRESENTATIVE – TORONTO

As a Sales Representative, you will be focused on:

  • Generating new business by identifying and qualifying prospects through research, dedicated networking and leveraging relationships
  • Executing on strategic prospecting activities such as cold calls, social selling and conducting in person meetings as a trusted advisor
  • Positioning and presenting a strong value proposition to potential customers
  • Creating and delivering relevant and engaging proposals and quotations
  • Negotiating contracts, bringing agreements to a successful close
  • Building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention and positive feedback
  • High achievement across monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Documenting and managing up to date records in the CRM to ensure transparency and view to pipeline, reporting and forecasts
  • Maintaining a pulse on the competitor landscape, identifying risks and opportunities

This role could be a great fit if you possess:

  • 5+ years experience in new business development
  • Experience selling B2B technology products
  • An ability to quickly build rapport and act with a customer-first mindset
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales targets through consultative selling
  • Persistent prospecting methodologies and creative lead-generation tactics
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Market knowledge across technology, finance and/or AI
  • Openness to occasional travel to trade shows, events, and customer sites
  • Experience in managing end-to-end sales pipelines applying an appropriate balance of identifying market pricing sensitivities and capitalizing on opportunities
  • Proficiency with HubSpot
  • Internal drive to work independently and as part of a team

Base Salary: $75K CAD + $75K CAD Variable (OTE $140K+)
Commission: Uncapped performance-based
Benefits: Health, dental, laptop & mobile phone allowance
