Responsibilities
Prepare, compile, and submit accurate, detailed, and timely tender submissions for construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, bills of quantities, and other tender documentation to ensure full understanding of project requirements.
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to support competitive and profitable tender submissions.
Support the delivery of profitable work orders through effective cost analysis and tender management.
Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of tendering systems, procedures, and processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contractual changes, market conditions, and developments within the construction industry.
Work collaboratively with internal teams while also managing responsibilities independently and using initiative.
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in an estimating or estimating/QS role within the construction industry.
Third-level qualification.
Strong understanding of construction tendering processes, contracts, and cost management.
Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Excellent analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
