Osborne Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading global automotive manufacturer to recruit a Process Manufacturing Engineer for its advanced automotive glass division.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of automotive mirror glass technology, driving innovation across cutting-edge manufacturing processes, coatings, bonding, lamination, and high-performance glass production.

The Opportunity
As a key member of the engineering team, you will lead the development, optimization, and industrialization of advanced glass manufacturing processes, working closely with R&D, design, and operations teams to improve quality, efficiency, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize glass processing, coating, bonding, and lamination processes

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve yield, quality, and cost efficiency

  • Lead process validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities

  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative glass products into production

  • Act as the technical expert for glass manufacturing processes

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in glass manufacturing, glass processing, coatings, mirror production, or display technologies – this is essential

  • Experience within automotive, architectural glass, consumer electronics, appliance, or display manufacturing environments

  • Strong knowledge of coating technologies, bonding, lamination, and process optimization

  • Proven success in high-volume manufacturing and continuous improvement environments
