Job Title: Graduate Civil & Structural Engineer – 2026 Opportunities

Osborne Recruitment are partnering with a well-established engineering consultancy to recruit ambitious Graduate Civil & Structural Engineers for their growing teams based in Dublin and Waterford.

This is an excellent opportunity for final year engineering students graduating in 2026 who are looking to kick-start their careers within a progressive consultancy environment.

Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of engineering and construction projects while working alongside experienced Chartered Engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

The company offers a structured graduate development programme designed to support professional growth, technical development, and progression toward Chartered Engineer status.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Senior and Chartered Engineers in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects
Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation
Support the design and development of sustainable engineering solutions for a variety of projects
Ensure designs comply with relevant Irish Building Regulations, Eurocodes, and industry standards
Attend project meetings, client meetings, and site visits as required
Carry out site inspections and assist with the preparation of inspection reports
Liaise with internal teams, architects, contractors, local authorities, and external consultants
Assist in the preparation of planning applications, statutory submissions, and building control documentation
Contribute to project coordination and delivery across multiple sectors

Requirements:
Degree or Master’s qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
Previous placement, internship, or summer experience within engineering or construction is advantageous
Knowledge of structural materials including concrete, steel, masonry, and timber
Familiarity with Eurocodes and relevant design standards
Exposure to engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, BIM software, MasterSeries, or similar packages is beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated with a willingness to learn and develop professionally
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
