Accounts Administrator – Part-Time – Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to support the finance and administration function within a busy and growing organisation.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, works well independently, and demonstrates strong integrity and accountability. You will gain valuable experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial administration, while also supporting the wider business with reporting and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Supplier Management

  • Review, process, and record all supplier invoices and credit notes

  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies

  • Schedule and process supplier payments

  • Record and reconcile all payments made to suppliers

  • Issue remittance advices

  • Manage and respond to supplier queries

Accounts Receivable & Credit Control

  • Issue customer invoices and credit notes

  • Collate billing data from multiple platforms and systems

  • Send monthly customer statements

  • Record and monitor incoming payments

  • Respond to customer account queries

  • Manage credit control processes and ensure timely payment collection

Banking & Financial Administration

  • Review and reconcile bank statements

  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Business Support

  • Provide ad-hoc support to Directors, including data analysis, tenders, pricing, and contract administration

Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong numerical and analytical ability

  • High standard of written and spoken English

  • Strong IT literacy across systems, platforms, and databases

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and use initiative

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and partners across locations
