We are hiring an experienced Product Owner to join a growing AI Product team based in Dublin.

This role has been created due to continued growth and expansion of the Product Management function. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping AI-driven product capabilities, translating business and customer needs into clear product requirements, and driving delivery within an agile environment. Duties / Responsibilities
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog for assigned product areas, ensuring alignment with overall product direction and organisational goals
• Convert high-level product requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria for development teams
• Ensure backlog items are properly refined, prioritised, and ready for development in line with agile delivery practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, design, and business stakeholders to deliver product enhancements
• Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of requirements and priorities
• Support the delivery process by providing clarity on requirements, addressing queries, and helping remove delivery blockers
• Work with testing teams to ensure delivered features meet functional and quality expectations
• Assist with release preparation activities, including documentation, readiness checks, and stakeholder updates
• Participate in solution discussions to ensure product features meet usability, scalability, and technical expectations
• Ensure delivered solutions align with internal governance, data protection, and security standards
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product review sessions
• Contribute to ongoing product enhancement by gathering feedback and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements
• 6–10 years of experience working in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar product-focused role within software environments
• Strong experience managing product backlogs and supporting feature delivery in agile teams
• Proven ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories
• Experience working closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver software products
• Solid understanding of agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience using product and delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
• Good technical understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data-driven applications
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related discipline
• Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills
Desired Skills
• Experience working on data-driven, AI-enabled, or automation-focused products
• Background in regulated or complex enterprise environments
• Familiarity with modern software delivery environments and product lifecycle management
• Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or technical product environments
• Understanding of DevOps environments and modern software delivery practices
• Relevant product or agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent)
• Experience contributing to product strategy, mentoring team members, or supporting product maturity
