We are currently hiring on behalf of an established and fast-growing electrical manufacturers based in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin. This is a new role created to launch and grow a preventative maintenance and site services offering within the business. This role will take full ownership of a new division within the company and will play a central role in shaping how it is sold, delivered and scaled. You’ll combine technical sales, service delivery coordination and on-site team management, acting as the link between sales, engineering and service teams.
Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development
Develop and own the Site Services sales pipeline, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance contracts
Proactively identify, pursue and convert new service opportunities
Conduct site visits, surveys and client meetings
Prepare proposals, quotations, scopes of works and commercial documentation
Follow up on internal sales leads while also generating new business independently
Achieve agreed revenue targets and KPIs
Preventative Maintenance & Technical Services
Promote and sell LV switchgear preventative maintenance as a core service offering
Develop service programmes aligned with OEM recommendations and industry standards
Identify lifecycle risks, end-of-life issues and upgrade opportunities during site visits
Act as a technical point of contact for clients
Site & Team Management
Manage and support a small on-site service team
Be present on the floor when required
Coordinate planned maintenance, service works, inspections and shutdowns
Support scheduling, resourcing and subcontractor coordination
Client & Stakeholder Management
Build long-term relationships with contractors, facilities managers and end users
Liaise closely with internal sales leadership and project teams
Handle technical discussions confidently
Ensure smooth handovers from projects into service
Commercial & Administration
Maintain CRM records and prepare service sales reports
Track service revenue, renewals and margins
Ensure RAMS, certification and job close-out documentation are completed correctly
Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years’ experience in technical sales, service management, or project management within the LV switchgear or wider electrical industry
Strong technical knowledge of LV switchgear, electrical systems and associated maintenance requirements
Solid understanding of live site environments and associated safety and operational requirements.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets while successfully developing and growing customer accounts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships
Highly organised, with proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously
Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel as required
