Field Sales Executive – Solar Energy – County Meath

We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Executive with a proven background in selling solar panels and solar-based energy solutions. This is a field-based role covering Meath and the wider Leinster region, focused on generating new business, managing the full sales cycle, and conducting on-site solar surveys.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in solar sales, including carrying out customer site surveys and working closely with technical and installation teams.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: €35,000 – €40,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and convert leads for residential and/or commercial solar installations
  • Conduct on-site solar surveys, assessing roof suitability, shading, orientation, and electrical setup
  • Present tailored solar solutions to customers, clearly explaining system performance, savings, and ROI
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial meeting through to signed contract
  • Accurately prepare quotations and proposals based on survey findings
  • Liaise with design, operations, and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Represent the company professionally at all times in the field

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 12 months’ experience selling solar panels or solar energy systems
  • Proven experience conducting solar site surveys
  • Strong field sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and related equipment
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and territory
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven, commission-based environment
