Project Systems Accountant
We are currently hiring a Project Systems Accountant for our client based in North Dublin on an 18-month FTC. Reporting to the Finance Systems and Transformation Manager, this role will work closely with teams across the organisation. You will play a key role in supervising the finance helpdesk and acting as the primary point of contact for staff queries, ensuring a high standard of service and system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the Finance Helpdesk, ensuring all tickets are addressed in line with agreed SLA response times.
Conduct regular compliance reviews of the financial systems user account base.
Develop and maintain ticket templates to support evolving helpdesk requirements.
Respond to IT audit queries, including those relating to user access privileges and financial transaction workflows.
Resolve tickets directly where possible and escalate to application or technical support teams as required.
Ensure the helpdesk knowledge base is reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis.
Maintain a strong customer service and customer-centric approach across all helpdesk activities.
Produce operational KPI reports on helpdesk activity and provide insights to support the Finance Transformation agenda.
Supervise primary financial systems within the finance function, including Agresso ERP, FP&A, and RCP, providing troubleshooting support and escalation to internal and/or vendor support teams.
Participate in projects to enhance processes, upgrade systems, and implement new functionality to improve the end-user experience.
Deliver training to finance staff and system end users.
Assist in the development of training materials and user documentation.
Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Key Requirements:
NFQ Level 7 degree with a minimum of three years’ relevant experience in a finance office environment, working with large financial information systems.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving issues across one or more Agresso modules.
Proven track record in training and supporting end users in the effective utilisation of Agresso similar ERP functionality.
Strong knowledge of data integration and migration processes within the Agresso environment or similar ERP
Experience performing system upgrades and ensuring compatibility with existing business processes in Agresso similar ERP.
Highly organised with the ability to coordinate and progress tasks independently using strong initiative.
Flexible and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and support colleagues when required.
