We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing Irish organisation to recruit an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on accounts payable experience who is comfortable working in a busy environment and is seeking flexibility through a hybrid working model.
Salary: €32,000 – €35,000 DOE
Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
Hours: 8 hours per day | Flexible start time between 8:00am – 9:00am

Key Responsibilities:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching invoices to purchase orders (POs) and ensuring correct approvals
Investigating and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies
Preparing and executing payment runs in line with internal deadlines
Maintaining and reconciling supplier accounts and creditor statements
Managing supplier queries and building strong working relationships
Producing and analysing aged creditor reports and month-end AP reports
Supporting month-end close activities related to accounts payable
Assisting with internal and external audits by providing documentation
Ensuring adherence to internal controls, policies, and accounting standards
Identifying opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiencies
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 1 year’s experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables and VLOOKUPs essential)
Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 an advantage but not essential)
High attention to detail with strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Not Essential but an advantage if you do:
Experience in FMCG, logistics, or high-volume transactional environments
Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements within accounts payable
