Credit Controller
We’re currently working with a well-established client in Drogheda who is looking to hire an experienced Credit Controller l to join their established finance team. This is role can be full time or a part-time role, ideally 4 days per week, with flexibility on hours.
Location: Drogheda (On-site)
Working Pattern: Full time or Part-time – 4 days per week (flexible hours)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor outstanding customer balances to support healthy cash flow

  • Process and reconcile customer invoices, payments and credit notes

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and agree payment plans where required

  • Resolve billing queries and account discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Assess credit risk for new and existing customers and support credit limit reviews

  • Carry out regular account reconciliations and aged debtor analysis

  • Prepare reports on accounts receivable and collections activity

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal credit policies

  • Build positive working relationships with customers while ensuring payment terms are met

  • Work closely with the wider finance team to support month-end and reporting processes

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Credit Control

  • Good understanding of credit management and debtor processes

  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy

  • Comfortable analysing data and resolving issues independently

  • Proficient with accounting systems and Excel
