Shift Technician

Are you a skilled technician with expertise in high-volume manufacturing systems? We are seeking a Shift Technician on behalf of one of our clients. We are looking for a shit technician to join their team and support the smooth running of operations. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have a background in polymer processing, we want to hear from you!

Location: Leixlip, Co. Kildare
Salary: €40,000 – €50,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Shift Pattern: Four-cycle shifts (15 shifts per month, including days and nights)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Shift Supervisors to start, stop, and troubleshoot machines, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
  • Perform regular machine servicing and execute technical tasks to maintain optimal production performance.
  • Step in as cover for the Shift Supervisor when required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and new product introduction projects.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, upholding the highest standards of safety and housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, GMP requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A degree in Polymer Processing is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems in high-volume manufacturing, hold a relevant qualification in one of these fields, and/or have specialised training and industrial experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Availability to work a four-cycle shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
