Administrator (Public Sector) – Dublin City Centre – 2-year temporary contract
We are currently seeking an Administrator on behalf of our client to support their assessment & monitoring department. Our client, a large organisation within the public sector is seeking a proactive and experienced administrator for a 2-year temporary post.
Salary: €29,810 pro rata
Responsibilities:
Assisting in case management for various national and EU procedures
Providing administrative assistance, including report distribution, comment collation, and document management for monthly meetings.
Handling & following up on queries received by the department.
Assisting in the preparation of data for monthly reports while supporting specific projects as needed.
Managing schedules, arranging meetings, and providing general secretarial support as required (e.g., typing, filing, and photocopying).
Helping with the development of SOPs, participating in audits, and implementing corrective actions in line with quality policies.
Supporting performance goal setting, monitoring, and reporting, while fostering a professional and positive work environment.
Facilitating clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders – including attending and contributing to relevant meetings.
Provide reception cover and support other areas of the organisation when required.
Requirements:
Minimum one-year previous experience in a busy office environment
Ability to meet deadlines and reach targets
Excellent organisation skills including the ability to prioritise and manage large volumes of work
Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite and database administration
Previous experience working as part of a team
Ability to use initiative and maintain output & productivity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
