Chief Medical Officer 

Osborne Executive Recruitment is seeking a highly qualified Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on behalf of a significant statutory body, to lead its Occupational Health Unit, delivering occupational health services to thousands of employees. This is a permanent, pensionable position based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will provide expert guidance to senior management on all aspects of occupational health services across the group. In addition to leading the Occupational Health Unit, the CMO will work closely with Health & Wellbeing teams to support and implement strategies that foster a culture of health and wellbeing across the organisation. This collaborative approach aims to integrate health initiatives within the Occupational Health Unit and the broader group.

Key Requirements:

  • A primary medical degree from a recognised medical school or university.
  • Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners (ICGP), Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI), or an equivalent institution.
  • Membership of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, RCPI, or an equivalent body.
  • Registration on the Specialist Register for Occupational Medicine with the Medical Council of Ireland or eligibility for such registration.
  • Fellowship of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (RCPI) or an equivalent qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
