Our client a prestigious 4-star hotel in Wicklow is seeking a Deputy Restaurant Manager to join their team. As Deputy Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager, leading the team and driving excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.
As Deputy Restaurant Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Assist in managing the restaurant’s operations on a 7-day roster. Oversee rostering, ensuring optimal staffing levels.
Support the implementation of policies and maintain exceptional standards of service.
Lead the team in providing an outstanding guest experience.
Carry out team meetings and appraisals, for the team in line with procedures.
Monitor stock and supplies to ensure the restaurant is always well-prepared.
Maximise sales and encourage upselling to achieve revenue targets.
Ensure all customer accounts are settled in full in an accurate and timely manner
Develop and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and consistency.

Key requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-quality restaurant or hotel setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
