Project Manager

Are you ready to make a real impact on Ireland’s journey to meeting its 2030 Climate Targets? Our client, a market-leading renewables group, is revolutionizing the way we approach sustainability through cutting-edge services in Solar Energy, External Wall Insulation, Cavity Insulation, and Loft Insulation. As the company continues its growth and success, we’re seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
This is your chance to be a part of something big – shaping the future of energy efficiency while leading a talented team of professionals on exciting residential retrofit projects. If you have a strong knowledge of SEAI projects and are passionate about driving environmental change, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of residential retrofit projects, from inception through to completion. You’ll ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards, with the additional responsibility of site surveying in the early project stages. This is a hands-on, results-driven role where you’ll manage multiple projects and coordinate teams to achieve sustainable success.
If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for renewable energy, and is excited to take on the challenge of transforming homes for a greener future, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead and Inspire Teams: Manage and motivate teams of subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house staff to deliver outstanding results on every project.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Be the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing timely updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong relationships throughout each project lifecycle.
  • Site Surveys & Measurements: Leverage your knowledge of surveying techniques to assist in gathering site measurements, conducting layout planning, and ensuring all early-stage project parameters are aligned.
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple residential renovation sites simultaneously, ensuring all projects are progressing on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all work adheres to the company’s high-quality standards and complies with relevant regulations and building codes. Take ownership of implementing and monitoring quality control measures.
  • Client Satisfaction: Work directly with homeowners to provide project updates, address concerns, and deliver a smooth, customer-focused experience.
  • Regular Inspections: Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance, and resolve any issues before they impact the project timeline.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of site activities, including photographic evidence, quality assurance reports, and any issues encountered. Report findings to the General Manager, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Safety First: Lead the charge in promoting and enforcing health and safety standards across all project sites to create a safe working environment for all.
  • Resource Management: Ensure the efficient use and management of materials, tools, and equipment, and coordinate timely deliveries to maintain project momentum.
  • Troubleshoot & Problem Solve: Address any project challenges head-on and provide effective solutions to ensure that projects remain on track.

What We’re Looking for in a Candidate:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in project management within the construction or renewable energy sectors, ideally with exposure to SEAI funded projects or similar energy efficiency schemes.
  • Education: A relevant qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is desirable. Experience in surveying is a plus.
  • Construction Knowledge: A strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, retrofit techniques, and energy efficiency solutions (especially in line with SEAI projects).
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Time Management & Organisation: Superb organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects while ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring that every aspect of the project is delivered to perfection.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to think on your feet and find creative solutions to any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

What’s in it for you?

  • Make a Difference: Help Ireland achieve its ambitious 2030 climate goals by working on impactful renewable energy and home retrofit projects.
  • Collaborative Team: Join a dynamic team of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering top-tier results while driving positive change.
  • Career Growth: Take your career to the next level with opportunities for professional development in a rapidly growing sector.
  • Exciting Projects: Manage a variety of high-profile projects with the potential to shape Ireland’s energy landscape for years to come.
