What You'll Do:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving design excellence and enhancing product performance. You'll collaborate with a talented team to create solutions that push the boundaries of engineering. Your expertise will directly influence the development of high-quality products, from early-stage concept to final production.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Lead simulation efforts using CFD and FEA tools to accelerate design validation and ensure optimal performance.
Apply GD&T principles to design and manufacturing processes, ensuring precision and reliability.
Bring your experience with manufacturing processes (molding, machining, casting, coating) to guide efficient and cost-effective production.
Leverage your understanding of material properties to make informed design decisions that improve product longevity and performance.
Provide expert technical support throughout the engineering value chain, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
Contribute to control systems engineering, tuning motors and managing PID control systems to enhance product functionality.
Ensure designs meet the highest safety standards (Machinery Directive, CE Marking, etc.) to guarantee compliance and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
A Bachelor’s degree (QQI level 8) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
8+ years of hands-on engineering experience with a proven ability to deliver solutions from concept to implementation.
Expert CAD skills with a deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and product development.
Strong background in mechanical, electromechanical, and systems design for both products and manufacturing fixtures.
A high-energy, solutions-driven mindset, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of mentoring and supporting the development of your team.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—allowing you to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
