Junior Maintenance Technician

Osborne Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client,  one of Irelands leading suppliers of material handling and customised automation solutions who are expanding in a number of fields.
Currently they have a vacancy for a recently qualified Junior Maintenance Technician on our customer site in Dublin.

This position requires that the successful candidate will perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment and is ideally suited to candidates who wish to pursue a career in engineering or manufacturing. You will be working on specific bespoke equipment, with full internal training provided
 

• Job Type: Full Time Permanent
• Location: Dublin 12
• Salary: DOE

Ideally all candidates will have:

• A formal relevant technical qualification to at least level 6 (Level 7 preferred)
• 2-5 years’ experience working in a related environment.
• Have strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem solving.
• A working knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, email etc.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Trouble shooting and problem resolution.
• Ability to work to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.
• Good working knowledge of current Safety legislation and European directives.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and documentation.
• Capability of working on own initiative and as part of maintenance team.

You will need to demonstrate that you are self-motivated and that you can work as an integral part of a dedicated maintenance team.
This position will require you to have a flexible approach within all aspects of the role and be willing to engage with a changing work environment and may involve shift and weekend work.
