We are seeking an energetic HR Generalist to join our client, a sports organization, on a temporary basis for an immediate start. Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Generalist will be acting as the first point of contact for People & Culture queries, supporting policy reviews and rollouts, maintaining HR records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and performance management, employee relations and HRIS development.

Key Responsibilities:
Being the first point of contact for all People & Culture related queries.
Support the review of policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practice and current legislation
Supporting the roll out of updated policies and procedures across the different departments.
Report on various People & Culture metrics and KPI’s
Support with the development of the HRIS system (Bamboo)
Planning and delivering inductions of new staff
Organise and maintain personnel records and update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
Support the People and Culture Business Partners with the Recruitment and selection process including preparation of interview packs, issuing employment contracts and other onboarding tasks.
Ensuring best GDPR practise within People & Culture function
Assist with ER matters as required
Conducting exit interviews
Support the management teams with ensuring compliance around the performance management cycle and mandatory training.
Other duties as outlined by the People and Culture Director and People and Culture Business Partners.
Contribute strongly to building a high-performance culture, working closely with culture working groups and staff engagement group.
Qualifications:
A third level qualification in Business, HR or a related subject or working towards or demonstratable HR working experience.
CIPD Certified or working towards
Skills:
At least 2 years HR experience in a fast-moving HR environment.
Good knowledge of Irish employment legislation
An energetic individual who works well under pressure independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a must
Personal Attributes:
Ability to manage data, analyse it, compile and generate reports
Experience across recruitment, performance management and employee relations processes
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and take on new tasks
People-orientated person, dedicated to providing the highest standard of service
