HR Manager
Dublin / Limerick Area (Hybrid)
4-month contract (View to perm)
Own transport needed

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our client, a leading international engineering and construction firm, on a temporary basis.
The HR Manager will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our client’s HR functions, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic HR initiatives to support our diverse and global workforce during a critical phase of growth.
The role may involve some infrequent travel to our client’s Dublin, Limerick, and Galway sites.

Key Responsibilities: 
Recruitment & Selection 
HR Strategy and Planning: 

  • Implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to senior management and department heads.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to boost morale and productivity.

Performance Management:

  • Review the outcome of the performance review process, review to ensure fairness and consistency and give inputs to next years’ process.

Compliance and Policy Management:

  • Audit and ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations across different regions
  • Lead updating and enforce HR handbook, policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Review and manage compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to maintain competitive pay structures.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Analyse HR metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Utilize data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least 7 years in a senior HR role.
  • Proven experience in an international and multicultural environment, preferably in the engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations in multiple regions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge and familiarity with talent management and succession planning
