Case Study - Head of Human Resources

Our client, a not-for-profit charity partnered exclusively with Osborne Executive Search to source their new Head of Human Resources.

This case study evidences Osborne Executive Search in carrying out full recruitment campaigns for senior C Suite management positions.

Our Process

A first meeting took place with the Director of HR to allow us full knowledge of the role, the vision of the organisation and what skills the successful candidate should hold. Osborne Executive Search ran full sourcing, extensive searches on Osborne Executives database, along with LinkedIn, social media in tandem with advertising the role over major Irish and International job boards. In addition, the team on Osborne Executive Search also used their wide network, talking with contacts. 

Process Continued

In total 50 candidates were screened, with 15 candidates having an interview with Osborne Executive Team, references checked, and excellent profiles sent to our client, along with detailed conversations about said candidates. The top 5 candidates were shortlisted and called to interview.  A panel was created and implemented a competency-based questionnaire for interview stage.

The Result

Each interview was hosted via MS Teams, the panel deliberated and recommend who would be brought back for 2nd round interviews. Upon a successful second interview, an offer was made and accepted with a very suitable candidate accepting the role. Both parties were extremely happy with the outcome. From the outset, the process took 8 weeks from the initial client meeting to the offer being accepted. The candidate was available to start immediately upon contract signing.
