We are looking to hire an experienced HVAC Engineer / Service Manager to join our company based in Waterford. The successful candidate will have experience in both mechanical and electrical with a strong understanding of an automated environment. This is a hands on multi-skilled role, and you must be willing to work in a cold environment for our client partners.
Salary: €50,000.
The Role:
The HVAC Engineer / Service Manager are required to carry out maintenance and repair of the following equipment.
Water chillers
Cold rooms/Freezer rooms
Ultra low freezers (-80 degrees)
Stability rooms
De-Humidifiers (Drying the air)
HVAC, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Hot water and heating system.
Electrical Switchgear.
Variable speed drives.
Systems – SCADA and PLC/Server driven systems.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Strong mechanical background.
Electrical background – ability to use multi meter and troubleshoot electrical faults.
Ability to read both electrical and mechanical schematic drawings
Available for call out duties and / or overtime when required.
Good understanding of BMS
Strong understanding of an automated environment
