Electrician (442A) – Toronto

We are partnering with a well-established company that supports power industries across the globe through the design and manufacturing of polymer products.

No two days are the same in this role. You'll be the go-to expert for keeping equipment, systems, and facilities running smoothly and safely.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Jumping into action when equipment goes down and getting things back up and running as quickly as possible

  • Responding to emergency maintenance calls when needed

  • Maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects, and lighting

  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks to help avoid unexpected downtime

  • Managing electrical inventory and ensuring essential supplies are available when needed

  • Working alongside Engineering to support continuous improvement projects and electrical standards

  • Collaborating with contractors and other trades to complete projects successfully

  • Planning, estimating, and managing maintenance projects from start to finish

  • Building positive relationships through professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members

  • Sharing your knowledge by coaching, mentoring, and supporting other members of the service team

  • Managing multiple priorities and projects

  • Putting safety first and performing all work in a safe, efficient, and professional manner

What We're Looking For

  • Valid 442A Industrial Electrician License

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

  • A team-player attitude with a willingness to lead and support others

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience

  • PLC programming experience

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives

  • Project management or estimating experience

Dual Ticket Maintenance Technician (433A & 442A)

What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Maintenance team, you'll play a key role in keeping our equipment, systems, and facility operating safely and efficiently.

  • Jump into action when equipment breaks down to get production back on track as quickly as possible

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems throughout the plant

  • Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain production equipment, motors, lighting, disconnects, and facility infrastructure

  • Use welding, fabrication tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance best practices to complete repairs safely and effectively

  • Keep maintenance records up to date using our CMMS system

  • Support housekeeping, 5S initiatives, and workplace safety standards

  • Work closely with production teams, contractors, engineering, and fellow maintenance professionals on projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements, while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

What We're Looking For

  • Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) and 442A Industrial Electrician licenses

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • PLC programming experience

  • A proactive, team-first attitude and a passion for problem-solving

This role requires a dependable and proactive candidate who can confidently support a broad range of business and accounting responsibilities, while also assisting with occasional personal matters in a discreet and professional manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist with administrative duties within the commercial property management sector

  • Acquire and process vendor quotes and service arrangements

  • Ensure timely turnaround on contracts and documentation

  • Prepare and distribute correspondence

  • Collect monthly statements

  • Align and partner with third party accountants

  • Organize and maintain schedules and calendar updates

  • Manage Google Drive organization, compliance, and financial documentation

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Support administration of rent roll and address financial matters of tenant

  • Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • 10+ years in a similar role

  • Familiarity with commercial lease preparation, review and execution, tenant coordination, renewals, and ongoing tenant management

  • Proficiency in Excel, Google, and QuickBooks

  • Ability and comfort with working autonomously

  • Resourceful and proactive approach in resolving challenges independently

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail

  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and capable of navigating complex scenarios

  • A high level of discretion and professionalism while managing sensitive and confidential matters
