Osborne Executive Search is seeking a seasoned Head of Reward to join a prestigious organization in Ireland.

As the Head of Reward, you will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive reward strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational values.

This role involves managing compensation, benefits, and pension programs, while providing expert advice to key stakeholders. You will drive people analytics initiatives to identify trends and deliver solutions, as well as oversee core cyclical reward activities such as salary reviews and bonus payments. Additionally, you will manage executive reward processes and lead projects to enhance processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement reward strategies, including salary benchmarking and benefits management
  • Act as the business expert in all compensation and benefits matters, providing guidance to stakeholders.
  • Lead people analytics initiatives to identify trends and propose solutions.
  • Manage group insured benefits and liaise with external partners.
  • Conduct market surveys and analyse compensation trends.
  • Oversee core reward activities such as annual salary reviews and bonus payments.
  • Lead benefits change projects, including streamlining processes and managing benefit packages.
  • Ensure compliance with emerging legislation and governance standards.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization, aligning reward strategies with organizational culture and values.
  • Provide leadership and direction on internal and external audits.
  • Act as a champion of HR management systems, driving engagement and providing impactful reporting.
  • Lead and manage ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management.

Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in HR, with a focus on reward management.
  • CIPD qualified, with a degree in HR, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience managing outsourced providers for pensions, benefits, and payroll.
  • Thorough understanding of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR management systems, preferably Success Factors.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Creative and innovative approach to enhancing processes and ways of working.

The HRBP will work closely with senior management to deliver a valuable to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and results that reflect the requirements and priorities of the company.
The role is responsible for the management of all aspects of day-to-day employee-related operations across the whole Function with superior knowledge of Human Resources procedures and associated employment legislation.
The HRBP will have a shared goal to ensure the smooth running of the HR department and to deliver an efficient service to ensure maximum value to employees, the function, and the organisation as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Support the Head of HR on key operational and strategic HR projects and the development of the department.
  • Proactively build strong working relationships with line managers and employees ensuring the delivery of an effective and professional end to end HR experience.
  • Implement and champion annual HR programmes of work in areas of engagement, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion, performance management, talent and workforce planning and HR data/ systems improvement.
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection of employees across the organisation in line with resourcing requirements.
  • Monitor resourcing data and metrics to identify trends and anticipate issues or changing needs that feed into the workforce planning process.  
  • Coach and train line managers on providing feedback, having difficult conversations, employee development, addressing poor performance and all other aspects of people management.
  • Carry out relevant meetings in accordance with employee resolution policies.
  • Working with the HR Administrator and HR Generalist, to ensure/ oversee HR systems are updated and reports are generated in accordance to specific requirements.
  • Analyse data and key performance indicators linking them to trends within the business to provide HR insights to management.
  • Be aware of the core objectives, standards and key performance indicators for the service and contribute to the monitoring of performance against these standards.
  • Participate in the requirements of the clients accreditation process and risk management programme.
  • Assist in ensuring a culture of safety, promoting positive reporting of incidents and near misses; investigate and take remedial action on incidents or near misses according to policies, protocols and guidelines.

Knowledge & Experience:
 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a HR Business Partner.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR practices and Irish Employment legislation.
  • Strong experience working with HR Systems and producing reports for Senior Management Teams.
  • Significant demonstrable experience of information management, analytical, administration and organisational skills.
  • Proven capability and experience managing and implementing HR Projects
