Accounts Payable Manager

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, promoting accountability and high performance.
Process Improvement: Implement and standardise best-practice AP processes to enhance efficiency and control.
Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships and resolve queries promptly.
Creditors Management: Monitor and reduce creditor days through effective planning and payment processes.
Month-End Close: Oversee AP month-end activities, including reconciliation of creditor ledgers.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Finance and Procurement teams to streamline operations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive automation and system enhancements to support scalability.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience managing an Accounts Payable team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of AP controls, compliance, and best practice processes.
Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
Confident working cross-functionally with Finance and Procurement teams.
ERP systems experience or involvement in process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
