We here at Osborne are currently hiring a Group Project and Commercial Accountant on behalf of our client, one of Ireland's leading engineering companies located in Dublin 22. The ideal candidate will have a 3 years’ PQE.
****This role is FULLY ONSITE***
Package:
Salary – UP TO €65,000 DOE
Monday to Friday FULLY ONSITE
Free parking onsite
Responsibilities:
Issue weekly cost & revenue reports to senior stakeholders and provide analysis on any trends/movements
Issue monthly cost reports to commercial teams across various sites within Ireland and Europe and provide analysis on any trends/movements
Present monthly to senior stakeholders regarding any trends/movements on revenue/costs/margins
Follow-up with ops teams with queries in submissions, clarify understanding of same
Identify key discussion items for weekly / monthly review
Escalate discussion points etc
Ability to monitor project spending, track costs and ensure financial discipline
Partner and collaborate with various commercial teams across the business by providing insight and commentary on their projections
Familiarity with revenue recognition, WIP (work in progress) and contract accounting
Assist in the development of new reporting using PowerBI
Required experience:
A minimum of 3 years’ PQE
Strong financial acumen
Strong reporting experience
Ability to work well within a team and have initiative
