Assistant Finance Executive – Permanent

Salary: €31,535
Location: Dublin 2
Hybrid: Flexible hybrid working arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Finance Executive on behalf of our client, a leading organisation within the Financial Management sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of overseas bank reconciliations, supporting international offices, and contributing to strong financial controls across a global network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the reconciliation of overseas bank and petty cash accounts to the general ledger on a monthly basis
  • Process overseas and petty cash accounts, ensuring interim returns are received promptly for reporting and audit purposes
  • Compile the monthly debtors’ reconciliation and manage the debtor book through the Centos Sales Ledger
  • Assist in debtor cash allocations, ongoing debtor reporting, and reconciliation processes
  • Support and train administrative staff in overseas offices on monthly financial returns
  • Liaise with overseas staff and office administrators to ensure timely receipt of returns and documentation
  • Monitor and review the administration budget’s Own Resource Income
  • Raise ad hoc invoices and complete other finance-related ad hoc tasks as required

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • A third-level business-related qualification to Level 7 standard on the National Qualifications Framework (essential)
  • Pursuing or interested in pursuing an Accounting qualification (advantageous)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and financial software
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting, processing, and control
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • A collaborative team player who takes initiative and demonstrates continuous improvement
  • A full driving licence is desirable
