We are currently recruiting a Fully Qualified Accountant on a permanent basis on behalf of our client, a growing and dynamic organisation that has recently completed a company acquisition. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of the full accounting cycle for the newly acquired business and play a key role in its successful integration into the wider group. For You:
Salary: €50,000
Hours: 35 per week (Monday–Friday)
Annual Leave: 21 Days
Location: Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full accounting cycle for the recently acquired company, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Assist with the integration of financial data and systems into the main group structure
Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPI reports
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards
Identify and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the finance department
Key Experience:
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
1–2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role
Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of financial reporting standards
Proven experience in managing a full set of accounts
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and experience with accounting software packages
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
