Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Dublin (Hybrid after probation)
Contract: 18-Month Fixed Term

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our team on an 18-month contract. This role plays a key part in delivering efficient and compliant HR services, supporting managers and HR colleagues across a broad range of operational areas. You’ll bring a proactive mindset, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations including absence management, resource changes, compensation and benefits.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across HR systems.

  • Act as a key point of contact for line managers, HR teams, and central functions.

  • Ensure all HR actions and documentation comply with internal policies and employment legislation.

  • Support quality assurance across processes such as contracts, payroll, and system updates.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to workflows, systems, and documentation.

  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide training where needed.

  • Provide ongoing support to the wider HR team and deputise for the team lead when required.

  • Contribute to HR projects, research and process improvements.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior HR experience with a strong understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.

  • Confident user of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills.

  • Self-motivated with a flexible and proactive approach.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Comfortable taking ownership of tasks from start to finish.

  • Experience leading or mentoring team members.
