Sales Engineer – Industrial Air Solutions (Munster Region, Ireland)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our clients team, a leading player in the Industrial Air sector. This role offers the chance to represent globally recognised, energy-efficient technologies while building lasting relationships and delivering high-impact solutions across Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new markets and sales channels within the Industrial Air sector.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide expert technical advice tailored to customer requirements.
  • Prepare and present professional proposals and product demonstrations.
  • Drive customer success through solution design, delivery, and handover.
  • Support commercial activities including exhibitions, customer demos, and negotiations.
  • Ensure exceptional after-sales support, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately record sales activities and contribute to national business development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical or industrial sales; experience in compressors or air treatment systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent listening and questioning skills.
  • High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and follow through on customer needs.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach and a resilient attitude to challenges.
  • Strong personal accountability and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Openness to feedback and commitment to personal development.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Munster region.
