Evaporator Trainee

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic production environment? Do you have a keen eye for detail, good numerical skills and confidence in using computers? We are hiring for an Evaporator Trainee on behalf of one of our well-known manufacturing clients in Naas, Co. Kildare. No prior experience is necessary—full training will be provided!

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare (Fully on-site)
Salary: €16 per hour (plus 15% shift allowance)
Hours: (Evening Shift) 2pm – 10:30pm
 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Training: Learn to operate and adjust evaporation and supply equipment under guidance.
  • Data Recording: Gain experience in maintaining operational records, including production times, units and quality checks.
  • Production Planning: Learn how to establish work schedules and assignments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Quality & Compliance: Identify and report any non-conformances to the technical team and take appropriate action.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor machine performance and report any technical issues to the Engineering Department.
  • Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking productivity and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the packing department.
  • Workplace Standards: Maintain high levels of quality, safety, and cleanliness in the working area.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Good numerical and computer skills.
  • Understanding of pumps and control valves (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience handling chemicals and hot liquids (preferred but not essential).
  • Awareness of Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes in food production (an advantage).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to shift-based working hours.
