General Operative

The Osborne Tech and Eng team are currently recruiting for the role of General Operative, to join our client operating in bustling industrial and commercial water treatment industry. The successful incumbent will work on brand new treatment facilities in the Leinster region and gain first class training and experience whilst on the job

Requirements:

• Must have a completed qualification in Health and Safety
• Full clean drivers licence
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling
• Good knowledge of water systems
• Hands on experience of pipework and metal fitting
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Previous general labouring or construction experience an advantage

Competencies required:

• Proactive with an ability to work on own initiative and to take the lead where appropriate
• Water sampling and recording
• Water tank cleaning and inspections
• Equipment installation and monitoring
• Fitter or plumbing background
• Background on a busy construction site
