We are assisting them in the recruitment of a highly experienced and driven Head of Fleet to lead the strategic and operational management of our extensive vehicle and plant fleet across Ireland, UK and Caribbean. If you have experience in fleet management of a large scale (500+) and have experience and excellent knowledge in data analysis with the confidence to gather information for weekly and monthly report meetings, then I want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily management of the Irelnd, UK and Caribbean fleet of vehicles (1000 vehicles)
Provide fleet specific reports to the Finance and divisional management, with monthly presentation of the same.
Prepare the Fleet energy management reporting
Mange the BIK reporting
Complete and record all insurance claims as well as accident management reports that arise.
Road safety and safety of drivers – system implemented for tracking
Monitor and ensure vehicle maintenance and compliance
Monitor Fuel efficiency of fleet
Manage IMS systems to ensure information quality and consistency
Cost control and fleet budget management
Vehicle procurement, vehicle disposal and vendor management
Implement Fleet policy and procedures, and other requirements related to Fleet.
Assist in supporting the business in ensuring client Fleet requirements are fulfilled
Assist the business with the monitoring of Fleet compliance.
Provide reports and present and key fleet metrics as required to the business.
Initiate or implement initiatives in relation to improving fleet KPIs
Carrying out internal driver training/assessments
Managing fleet related invoicing for the Group
Participate in ongoing fleet projects as required
Escalate risks and issues as appropriate
Work with the Operations teams as appropriate
Line Management
Perform other duties as required from time to time
Key Requirements:
Full clean driving licence
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a fleet related role
Ability to manage a team and work in a team environment
Holder of Transport Manager CPC + experience with HGV’s, Trailers and equipment
Experience with vendor management
Experienced in using excel (VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
Strong knowledge and experience with data analysis
Confident with running weekly and monthly reports/data
Confident in presenting information to management teams etc.
Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to be proactive rather than reactive
