Head of EHS | Telecoms & Utilities | Permanent | Ireland (with EU/US travel)

Are you a strategic EHS leader ready to shape the future of health, safety and environmental excellence?
We're partnering with a fast-growing player in the telecoms and utilities space, delivering major infrastructure projects across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US. They’re now seeking a Head of Environment, Health & Safety to drive their EHS vision and embed a culture of safety and sustainability at every level.

The Role:

You'll lead the company’s global EHS strategy — from shaping policy and maintaining ISO standards to engaging senior leadership and driving performance across complex, multi-site projects. This is a pivotal, high-impact role with influence across operations, risk, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and deliver a forward-thinking EHS strategy
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing EHS team
  • Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Drive audit, risk and incident investigation programmes
  • Champion training, coaching and culture across field teams
  • Travel across Ireland, GB, EU and US as required

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years in EHS leadership, ideally in telecoms, utilities or construction
  • Expert knowledge of ISO frameworks and legal compliance across jurisdictions
  • A proven people leader, comfortable influencing execs and mentoring teams
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, CDM)
  • Strategic mindset, operational grip

You'll join a company with a strong growth trajectory and the autonomy to shape safety culture at scale. If you're ready to lead in a values-driven, dynamic environment — let’s talk.
