Head of Membership

We here at Osborne have a very exciting new role! We are currently hiring the Head of Membership for our client, one of Ireland’s leading philanthropic organisations located in Dublin 4.
 
The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, and they will be responsible for driving the membership team, promoting memberships and manage operational aspects of membership in the RDS.
 
Package:

  • Salary – €55,000+ DOE
  • Monday to Friday
  • Free staff parking onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Membership recruitment through promotion initiatives to include representation at appropriate events, networking and marketing /advertising campaigns
  • Lead the Membership team, to include Membership & renewals administrators, receptionists, member events coordinator and membership engagement executive
  • Manage the team to achieve annual targets for Member recruitment and retain Members,
  • Drive retention through an improved customer experience and work with hospitality to ensure a smooth delivery of services in Members’ Club
  • Oversee a programme of events for Members, reflecting the diverse range of their interests
  • Market the Membership Event Programme to Members and others through print and electronic media in association with the Foundation Director
  • Work with the Foundation Director on budget management, financial and evaluation reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in Commerce, Sales & Marketing or similar
  • At least 5 years’ experience in developing, marketing, and implementing Membership products or services in Ireland or internationally
  • Proven experience of Member recruitment and client relationship building, preferably within a Membership-based organisation
  • Experience managing & leading a team
  • A proven ability to achieve and exceed ambitious agreed financial and Membership targets is essential
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent event management and organisational skills
