Senior Bookkeeper

A well-established company in Dublin 15 is seeking a stand-alone bookkeeper to join their team. You will be reporting directly to the MD and the external accountant This role is office-based Monday to Friday, permanent role, based in Dublin 15 with some flexibility with working hours
The client is seeking a candidate that wants to be part of a team and that can add value to the company

Salary & Benefits:

• €50-55k

Responsibilities of Role:

• Produce monthly management accounts
• VAT Returns
• Central Statistics office filings
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts department
• Payroll processing for a number of companies
• RCT Tax
• Liaising with accountants, customers and suppliers
• Ensure the accounts software is fully up to date and reconciled at all times
• Supplier payments
• Weekly bank reconciliation
• Producing figures for yearend accounts

Requirements For Role:

• IATI qualified a distinct advantage
• The following systems a distinct advantage (Sage Line 50, Sage Accounts Production and Thesaurus Payroll Software)
• 5+ years of experience as a stand alone bookkeeper
• Proficiency in excel and an accounting backage is essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Experience in a finance department from a construction industry is a distinct advantage
