Responsibilities of Role:
Processing banking payments and receipts, reconciling multiple bank accounts and investigating any discrepancies
VAT, VIES, Intrastat for ROI and UK companies
Inter-company expense recharges and VISA expense reconciliations
Accounts Payable –processing of purchase invoices, reconciliation of creditors accounts
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including month end procedures and reconciliations
Various other ad-hoc reporting as and when required by finance.
Requirements of Role:
Part-qualified Accountant/Accounting Technician
Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant role
1-2 years’ experience of working in a busy Finance department
Excellent attention to detail is essential for this role
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as under pressure.
Have excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Be methodical and organised.
Have the ability to multi task effectively and work within strict deadlines
