Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the midlands. You will be a technically-capable surveyor who will manage client meetings, expectations and negotiations.

Responsibilities:
Leading Client meetings, expectations and negotiations
Taking costings / measurements from screen
Preparing and managing accurate project budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports
Overseeing tendering and procurement processes, ensuring value for money
Administering contracts, including negotiating terms with suppliers and subcontractors
Monitoring project progress, identify variations, and ensure cost efficiency
Conducting regular risk assessments and provide financial recommendations
Collaborating with project teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior client-facing Quantity Surveying role
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying minimum, professional registration desirable
Demonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction industry
Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, MS Excel, or similar)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
