You will be experienced with multiple entities, locations with international hubs, leading a team of at least 2, audit / big 6 trained, and will have superb relationship building and communication skills and will want a broad and varied role. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Finance Director and provide support across a range of strategic and operational projects. This is a cross-functional role with responsibility for overseeing the Financial Accounting team while also delivering key financial insights and commercial support to both the Finance Director and the wider business. The Finance Manager will be accountable for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial information across the group. A core focus of the role is to drive continuous business improvement and deliver clear, relevant, and timely analysis to support effective decision-making. Duties & Responsibilities:
Take full ownership of the financial control environment, including month-end and year-end close processes, as well as annual audit coordination
Ensure the Financial Accounting team consistently delivers on all core responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, with a strong focus on cost management
Maintain balance sheet integrity through clear, well-documented reconciliations
Manage audit engagements with statutory auditors across regions, ensuring timely completion of audits and fulfillment of corporate tax obligations
Reconcile management accounts with statutory financial statements to ensure consistency and accuracy
Provide insightful analysis of key variances to support informed business and financial decision-making, including recommendations to improve sales or margins
Continuously enhance the monthly management reporting pack to strengthen commercial insight and support strategic decisions
Serve as a strategic Finance Business Partner to other departments and the senior management team—managing and analyzing departmental P&Ls against budgets and prior year performance
Demonstrate a global mindset by promoting and implementing best practices across the finance function
Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction and margin improvement across the business
Collaborate with the Finance Director and Commercial Finance Manager to evaluate the impact of strategic projects and new commercial or investment opportunities
Support the finance team with general ledger queries and ensure compliance with tax and reporting regulations
Work closely with external accountants to review and maintain adherence to transfer pricing rules
Identify potential risks within the financial control environment and propose effective controls to mitigate them
Manage cashflow forecasting across all currencies held by the company
Play a key role in establishing new legal entities in international markets
Take ownership of people management responsibilities, including mid-year and year-end performance reviews
Ensure your team is engaged, motivated, and supported in their professional growth, while maintaining clear succession plans
Contribute to a variety of ad hoc projects, reporting tasks, and financial analyses as needed
Experience required:
Strong planning and analytical skills to effectively manage the broad scope and diverse requirements of the role
Preferably a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
Proven experience in team management, including delegation, prioritization, and performance development
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
5–8 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with Infor systems is advantageous
High level of attention to detail
