Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process weekly and monthly payroll for the group companies.
Preparation of monthly and yearly payroll reports.
Manage payroll queries from staff, management and authorities.
Track sick leave and other statutory leave payments
Complete CSO quarterly reports
Day to day supervision of credit control operations.
Support to credit controllers with more complex and difficult account resolutions.
Proactively liaise with customers and internal operations to resolve problem queries.
Carrying out credit checks and processing credit applications, link accounts.
Weely review of debtor’s ledgers for unallocated receipts and correcting same.
Support monthly debtors listing review meeting with financial Director.
Preparation of monthly and yearly debtors’ reports.
Support in account postings and reconciliations as necessary.
Preparation of monthly accounts to final trial balance stage including accruals and prepayments within a strict deadline.
Monthly control account reconciliations and corrections.
Preparation of VAT, PAYE and P30 returns
Preparation of CSO and other government statistical returns.
Preparation of annual accounts backup file for audit purposes
Monthly Bank reconciliations to be issued to Finance Director for authorisation.
Act as back up support for group financial controller as necessary.
Act as HR liaison for staff on HR queries on processes and procedures.
Support head of HR if required
Key Requirements:
Pursuing an accounting qualification (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) Is desirable
Minimum for 3 years experience in a similar role
String communication skills both written and verbal
