Warehouse Stock Operative

I am looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver on a temporary basis with a leading privately/family-owned FMCG business located in Ashbourne Co Meath.
The successful candidate will have experience as a forklift driver and hold a valid Counterbalance licence. You should have experience working in logistics and will have strong knowledge working to high health and safety measures. Successful candidates must be flexible and open to shift rotation.
This is a 3 month temporary position which the opportunity for it to be extended.

Due to location, own transportation is required.

Hours: Rotating Shifts 

• (1st week) Mon – Thurs 7am – 3pm, Fri 7am – 1pm
• (2nd week) Mon – Thurs 3pm – 11pm, Fri 1pm – 7pm

Salary & Benefits:

• €21.79 per hour   
• Monday to Friday
• Canteen
• Parking

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing stock for deliveries to the large list of clients
• Operating a forklift to moved pallets around the warehouse
• Loading and unloading of high volumes of stock

Key Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 2 years working operating a forklift
• Must hold valid forklift licenses (Counterbalance)
• Must have a valid Manual Handling Certificate
• Excellent knowledge of safe systems of work and Health & Safety legislation
• Good computer Literacy levels
• Ability and proven experience of working with new technology
• Innovative mind-set
• Excellent team working skills
