Production Team Leader

Are you ready to take the lead and drive a high-performing production team to success? We’re seeking a motivated Production Team Leader, on behalf on one of our well-known clients within the Food Manufacturing Industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your leadership skills, offering career progression for the right candidate.

Location: Naas, Co. Kildare
Salary: €16 per hour (+ overtime available)
Hours of work: Approx. 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 10-hour shifts (Monday – Saturday, 40 hours per week)
*Please note: Hours will vary, with a shift transition to evenings by the end of the year*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Management: Ensuring the smooth running of the department and meeting production targets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Managing and evaluating output to achieve desired results.
  • Training & Development: Training and mentoring team members to perform at their best.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Promoting collaboration and inspiring your team.
  • Standards & Compliance: Following and enforcing hygiene and safety procedures.
  • Problem-Solving: Offering ideas and new initiatives to improve operations.
  • Communication: Liaising with the Production Manager to address and resolve issues.
  • PPE Compliance: Ensuring all team members wear and maintain proper PPE.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role, is required.
  • Experience within food manufacturing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health & safety processes.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Initiative to anticipate and address challenges.
  • Proven ability to guide, motivate, and inspire others.

Additional Information:

  • Some travel may be required.
