Operations/Office Manager – Travel Industry – Dublin City Centre – Permanent

Here at Osborne, we are currently seeking an Operations/Office Manager for a travel organisation based in Dublin City Centre. Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional travel experiences to clients and are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of services while also managing bookings directly. This dual role requires strong organisational skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep understanding of the travel industry.

Salary: Up to €50k DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end booking process for flights, accommodations, tours, and other travel services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide tailored travel solutions, and manage special requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and itineraries.
  • Monitor and analyse travel trends to optimise offerings and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies.
  • Manage a team of travel consultants and support staff in development.
  • Address operational challenges promptly and maintain high service standards.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • Proven experience in operations, with hands-on experience in managing bookings (ideally within the travel/tourism industry)
  • Strong knowledge of booking systems (e.g., GDS systems, online booking platforms).
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant travel management software.
